A massive amount of tree work on multiple specimens including pruning and removal.
The sheer volume of work to be carried out.
All work was successfully completed to a high standard.
A massive job down at the Northern Beaches in Narraweena involved no less than 15 specimens of tree and shrub. A large black bean tree – Castanospermum australe – was dismantled to ground level with no permit required as it is classed as an exempt species by Northern Beaches Council. A second exempt tree species above a glasshouse was also reduced to ground level, a non-native Honey Locust – Gleditsia triacanthus. Further specimens included a crepe myrtle – Lagerstroemia indica; a silky oak – Grevillea robusta; a mulberry – Morus nigra and a small hibiscus. Pruning and deadwooding were also carried out on two Bangalay Gums – Eucalyptus botryoides – on the property, a flame tree – Brachychiton acerifolia – which had two low-hanging limbs removed, as did a large jacaranda – Jacaranda mimosifolia. A large ficus tree – Ficus benjamina – had some low limbs removed and was crown lifted above the boundary marker for a new property subdivision. A swamp mahogany – Eucalyptus robusta – had a branch removed that was encroaching onto a neighbouring mango tree – Mangifera indica – which also had the deadwood removed from its canopy. Finally, a large Chinese elm – Ulmus parvifolia – was crown lifted above the roofline by 2 metres and the lateral branches reduced. Overall it was a mammoth amount of work to get through but the end result of the project created a striking new aesthetic for the property.
