Lower North Shore Tree Work
Wollstonecraft
North Sydney Council
1 day
Dead tree removal, deadwooding and palm removal.
Removing large dead trees can be extremely hazardous, making it potentially unsafe for the property and surrounding residents.
Professional results were achieved.
A council permit was gained for the removal of a dead redwood – Sequoia Sempervirens – at the rear of the property. Dead trees can be a notorious hazard when removal is required so all safety precautions were taken for the subsequent reduction in height to ground level. A handy lane at the rear of the property allowed for the safe removal of the specimen and the chipping of the cut wood was achieved with minimal fuss. A nearby Bangalow palm – Archontophoenix cunninghamiana – was also reduced to ground level and an Australian red cedar – Toona ciliata – was pruned of any deadwood over 30mm in diameter to improve its general aesthetics and overall ongoing health. All cut material was chipped and removed from site and the area was left clean and tidy on the day. Green waste was disposed of at an appropriate facility and by the end of the day a good end result was achieved. Every attempt was made to minimise possible inconvenience to the neighbours in the adjoining lane and no issues were noted as the work was undertaken and completed on the day to a professional standard.
