West Pennant Hills Tree Removal
West Pennant Hills
Hills Shire Council

Two medium-sized tree specimens down for removal, both requiring council permits – a large eucalypt and a jacaranda.
Safely bringing two medium-sized trees down to ground level with the aid of a 13-tonne crane. Ensuring tree removal was permitted by the Hills Council.
Full council approval, no problems on the day and all goals achieved.
Off to West Pennant Hills for this job that involved the removal of an Argyle apple or Silver Dollar Gum – Eucalyptus cinerea – which required a council permit from Baulkham Hills Council. A permit was granted for this removal as well as for a nearby jacaranda – Jacaranda mimosifolia – a beautiful sub-tropical tree but totally unsuitable to the growing site in which it was located. A 13-tonne crane was brought in to great effect to remove these specimens safely, quickly and efficiently. Thankfully the jacaranda was in its winter dormancy so minimal leaf and flower drop on the property and all branches, trunk, deadwood and other green waste were removed from the site and disposed of at an appropriate facility. The removal of these specimens, while rather sad, opened up the surrounding area to abundant natural light and allowed for future plantings of equally beautiful and more suitable feature trees and perhaps a native shrub or two to fill out the garden and attract the local wildlife.
