Parramatta Council Tree Regulations
Parramatta Council enforces specific regulations for tree removal on residential and commercial properties to protect the area’s greenery and heritage. Before pruning or removing a tree, you may need to apply for permission through either a Tree Permit Application (TA) or a Development Application for Tree Works (DA). The TA is necessary for most trees, especially those exceeding 3 meters in height unless they fall under heritage or conservation categories which require a DA. The fees for a TA are $130 for the first tree and $110 for each additional tree, with discounts available for pensioners. Arbor Pride adheres to these regulations by conducting thorough site assessments and securing necessary permits before beginning any tree work. We offer comprehensive services, including tree removal, pruning, and consulting, ensuring compliance with local laws while prioritising safety and environmental care. With over 20 years of experience, Arbor Pride provides transparent pricing and free tree inspections, helping clients navigate the regulatory landscape efficiently and responsibly.
