Under Central Coast Council’s Tree Preservation Order, any tree over 3m in height and any tree listed on the Significant Tree Register regardless of its size needs council consent before any treeworks, including removal or pruning, can be undertaken in order to maintain tree cover in the council’s Coastal Open Space System.
